Dr. Susan M. Wolfe
Susan Wolfe received her M.A. in Ecological Psychology from Michigan State University, and her Ph.D. in Human Development and Communication Sciences from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is currently the CEO for Susan Wolfe and Associates, LLC, which is a community psychology consulting practice in the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas metropolitan area.
Dr. Wolfe's experience spans a variety of organizations and content areas. She has held research and program positions in education, government, health care, and mental health services organizations. Her research and practice topic areas include health disparities, policy, homelessness, domestic violence, adolescent development, organizational change and innovation, education (elementary, secondary and post-secondary), and social programs. She is experienced in conducting basic research, applied research, program evaluation, and facilitating strategic planning. Her current practice includes program evaluation, strategic planning facilitation, training, grant writing, and organizational capacity building. She also serves as adjunct faculty at the University of North Texas at Dallas and the University of Texas at Dallas.
In addition to her program and research engagement, Dr. Wolfe has been involved in numerous additional volunteer and professional development opportunities. She is an active member of the Society for Community Research and Action's Practice Council and Committee for Women. She is co-chair for the American Evaluation Association's Independent Consulting topical Interest Group program and on the founding committee for the Texas Evaluation Network. She is also currently President of the Dallas Chapter of OWL. She has published articles in peer reviewed and other venues and presented numerous times at local, national, and international conferences.
