Villarreal Muñoz Laura
Laura is a pharmacist; she is graduated from the University of Health Science (UCIMED) in 2004. She has an experience in community pharmacy because she has been working in this area the last four years. Now, she is also working as an examiner of the patent applicants that arrive to Costa Rica.
Laura considers it to be very important to constantly update of her studies. By doing this, she feels certain that she is effectively helping patients by preventing or detecting any problem with their medicine and providing high quality pharmaceutical consultations. She is especially focused on the geriatric population because this part of the population is more vulnerable to illness, the majority of whom require pharmaceutical treatment and need health services.
She chose to become involved in the work of the Community Tool Box because she considers it a good way to contribute to a very noble and important mission that helps people create change and improvement in their communities.
Laura’s contribution to the Community Tool box is translating sections into Spanish.
