WHO Centre Collaborators

Rea Maria Eugenia

Maria Eugenia Rea was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela.   In 1996, she became a business professor with honors (Cum-Laude) and started to work as an accounting professor at the Liberator Experimental Pedagogic University –Pedagogic Institute of Caracas. Four years later in Caracas, she met and married an American man and decided to move to United States of America to start a family.  Once she moved, she started to work on her education equivalency as an educator.  She did not lose any credits during the transfer and decided to go intellectually deeper by becoming an accountant and fulfilling the requirements to take the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) test, which she did, and passed all four parts in one sitting.  Since 2004 she have been working in the accounting field as a seasonal worker doing both accounting work and translations of marketing materials for different CPAs firms in Las Vegas, NV USA.

She enjoys translating, teaching, and spending time with her family especially with my two wonderful children (Samuel 6 and Elizabeth 2).

She chose to be engage with the Community Tool Box because the type of work that the Community Tool Box does deserves her attention, her collaboration, and her admiration.  She feel that we are both contributing to change communities, lives, and in some ways the world.

Maria is translation from English to Spanish of the different sections contained in the Community Tool Box documentation.
