I am currently the Development Director of a new organization that provides services to the homless population in our community. I have worked in this field for 17 years.

I am new to this site, but I will use it to train the members of our organization. I did not have time to view everything, however I will be back, and will encourage our staff to use it.

My employment title is Tobacco Prevention and Control Coordinator. My office is located in a rural 4th through 8th grade elementary/middle school. My scope of services include developing tobacco educational programing and policies; coordinating a community coalition of folks who support prevention education and seem interested in smoke free dining ordinances and enforcement issues regarding teen smoking.

I am a new user to this program. This web address was included in a packet of information handed out at a CDC bidders conference I attended yesterday.

I work in a not for profit regional NGO, as a training consultant and specifical in monitoring and evaluation. I am also the lead consultant in economic, financing, cost recovery assignments.

The site is an incredible source of resource materials. In the next two weeks i will be the lead facilitator in a training course for senior managers in the water and health sector. They will come from five to six different countries. I intend to use relevant sections to suppliment what we have used in the past. I will also let them know about the site. The Community Tool Box was a link from another site. I think your site is excellent. A great deal of good thought went into this resource. It contains a wealth of significant resources, examples, practical how to's, and most importantly, you communicate to the average user on their terms. It's almost too good to be true.

I am the Programs Manager for Enlace de Familias. We are a Coalition founded by residents. Most of my work is around community organizing. Our next goal is: Vote of Registration, Understanding the Political Sysytem and Leadership Developement. This all for our residents and current memebers.

Community Organizer for Salt Lake Community Action, currently working on a collaborative project to promote preschool oral health in a low income multi-ethnic neighborhood. Study involves 500+ children in neighborhood child care centers. Received startup grant from private foundation and donation of 2000 brushes and tubes of paste from a religious organization. Lots of in-kind time and talent. Grassroots committee. Pre - post oral screenings on participant children, brush records maintained by parents and center staff, two years, State Oral Health will use info for broader preventative / education promotion and hopefully institutionalization. Also many "smaller" projects in the neighborhoods keep me very busy.
