As part of our Healthy Habits Project, we have mini-grant projects with our local WIC agencies and we trained them on evaluation planning. I have been using this site to get ideas on developing a final report format for them. Also, how to write grant applications and finding funding sources. We will be referencing your website during our last training with the Mini-Grant agencies in January 2003.

I am a graduate student in adult education returning to grad school after 22 years of producing corporate training and communications video and consulting on team building and HR development especially creativity and creative problem solving.
How have you used the Community Tool Box to support your work and make a difference?
In my grad work, I am currently writing a grant to fund research I would like to do in showing how creativity and brain dominance training speeds recovery of life changing trauma, ie, divorce, death, critical illness. I am looking for ways to conduct my research and instruments that will enable me to effectively measure the results. I am finding the toolbox a very streamlined way to processes that might be useful. If anyone is aware of any research already existing which may help me in this project, I would be very greatful for the information.

I am in the very beginning stage of my own SED - to start a new industry for the North Coast of California. This industry will accrete minerals out of seawater for use in (initially) artificial bone for transplants and in (later) other uses for this low-cost material, such as construction elements and a new medium for artists. (More information on request.) I am about to graduate (June 1) from College of the Redwoods with an AS degree in electronics technology (microcomputer option).

I just discovered this valuable resource, but am wondering why I can't access all of the sections. Can you explain this? (If you like, you can edit out everything after the word "resource" and put a period there for inclusion in the guest book.)

How have you used the Community Tool Box to support your work and make a difference?
I have been working to start a patient education program in our clinic. I'd like to begin by establishing a participatory community coalition to deal with numerous health promotion issues. I would like to start though with how to prevent early childhood caries. We have the highest incidence in the U.S. I'd like to see our program use the latest knowledge from cognitive science as well as to do everything in a culturally competent way, so we build over the foundation that is already in place. I just found the toolbox site today. I will use it for everything.
