Ask an Advisor Answers
Question:
Our school district clerical group is in the process of re-writing our clerical contract. We would like to write by-laws, which we have never had. We do not belong to a union at this time. Do you have any suggestions or samples that might be of help to us?
Answer:
You might want to check out the section of the CTB Table of Contents that pertains to writing by-laws (/tools/en/section_1098.htm) for some assistance. If that proves to not be helpful, I would recommend contacting your local Chamber of Commerce, or doing a web search (Google or Yahoo) for some additional help. Best of luck!
