Question:
hello, I am trying to find information about the difference between working with communities and working with individuals. in particular if there are any general considerations to community work. i am also interested in ethical and practical considerations. could you please assist me in some key points and further reference points to find out more info! thanks maria
Answer:
Gosh, what a great question! There is a lot of discussion of this within the professional literature, but no easy answers. We have a couple of chapters within the Community Tool Box that might help. Please check out: - Chapter 19. Choosing and Adapting Community Interventions (/tools/en/chapter_1019.htm) Several of the sections within this chapter are particularly relevant to your question. Best of luck in your work.
