    I work as a policy analyst for the Social Planning Council of Winnipeg in Canada. The Planning Council is involved in a number of projects that involve using an asset-based community development approach, especially as it relates to community health. Using population/health promotion ideas, we try to involve communities and neighbourhoods in a process that builds on community capacities.
