Question: My name is Lee Land and I work at the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Heather Becker and I are evaluating the Texas Comprehensive Cancer Control Coalition and are looking for short, reliable & valid instruments to use in our evaluation of the Texas Cancer Control Toolkit. Any suggestions or questionnaire materials that you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time, I look forward to hearing from you.
Answer: Unfortunately, we do not have specific evaluation tools (esp. topic-specific tools) on the Community Tool Box, but you might want to check out the evaluation tool sections in our Table of Contents (/tools/en/chapter_1039.htm). They will provide some guidance. Also, you might want to contact NCI. They have a great web site called Cancer Control Planet (http://cancercontrolplanet.cancer.gov/) that not only has evaluation tools, but lots of program resources that might also be relevant.
