    I am an MSW student at the Univ. of Denver and stumbled across the Toolbox in a resource guide at my current field placement (a community-based non-profit). I graduated from KU in 1994 from the WAW school of Journalism and I'll admit I like checking out anything to do with KU because it keeps me connected to a good part of my life.

    Design Network International is a Venture to form Sustainable Rural Ecovillages to aleviate poverty and suffering.     I run a community service program in a medical school and we've just completed the first year of a service-learning course called Physician in Community that I'll be helping out with even more this coming year.

    Just found your site. Having problems with some members of church (we are located on church property but separate organization) being overly critical of everything - and most of them have never had direct contact. Controversy seems to stem from historically white middle class parishoners seeing outreach to mostly minority individuals on campus. A real pain. Hope your info will help.

    I work for the Oklahoma Institute for Child Advocacy in Oklahoma City, I am the project coord for our KIDS COUNT project funded by the Annie E.Casey Foundation. And I am the Intern/Volunteer Coord. Part of OUR KIDS COUNT Project includes a KIDS COUNT Leadership Series that is a 10-month series of trainings and technical assistance.
    I am constantly referring my Leadership group to this site as a resource for what they are doing in their communities and for their KIDS COUNT Leader Projects. Every time I go to this site I am amazed what is offered. I always find something new. I have never found another site to equal this one as an available usable resource for positive community change.
