I RECENTLY TOOK A POSITION AS DIRECTOR OF A FAITH IN ACTION PROGRAM IN WESTERN PA

THIS IS A BRAND NEW PROGRAM LAUNCHED BY A LONG-STANDING MINISTERIUM. I AM HOPING TO BUILD A SOLID FOUNDATION BY-THE-BOOK THIS TIME TO SEE IF ALL THE THEORIES I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO PUT TO USE BECAUSE OF ONE CRISIS AFTER ANOTHER REALLY WILL WORK. I PLAN TO USE COMMUNITY TOOL BOX THIS TIME TO ESTABLISH STRUCTURE INSTEAD OF USING IT TO FIX PROBLEMS AS I HAVE HAD TO DO AT OTHER ORGANIZATIONS IN THE PAST--COULDN'T BE MORE DETERMINED!

This site is chuck full of helpful stuff about community partnerships. I am working with several partners and planning a project to take place at low-income housing. I have a grant deadline coming and this site has really helped to provide information!

I am the director of the economic development university center that provides services to nonprofits

to help develop short courses and provide TA to clients. also I am doing a doctoral dissertation in tax exemption and financial sustainability of NGOs

I am the founder of a newly established not-for-profit community-based organization called "R.E.A.C.H., Inc." (Restoring Ex-offenders & At-risk youth with Community-based services & Healthy living) within the District of Columbia. Our organization is structured as an Administrative Management Organization, providing a contiuum of care through a Network of Collaborating Service Providers.

To better develop, establish, and sustain our organizational infrastructure and capacity.

Retired bank officer now doing volunteer work with two nonprofit corporations that aid homeless persons and families and recovering drug and alcohol abusers. They exist on grants and badly need a more constant flow of revenue. I have proposed they partner in a general merchandise store and solicit "in-kind" gifts of new inventory for sale along with a large quantity of goods donated by individuals. City codes make it difficult to locate a business in area with good foot traffic and visibility if it does not sell at least 85% new merchandise. (No "thrift" stores!}

The new Medical Reserve Corps Coordinator for the city of Virginia Beach. I will be establishing a volunteer corps of medical professionals for disaster preparedness.

This is all new so I am using quite a bit about action plans, communication, volunteers, etc.

I was hired to coordinate an HIV prevention project in a clinic setting. What I have been doing is to assist the program director in developing a plan and assist in the implementation. Not only with a view to project planning, but to a hire level re-structuring the clinic, revitalizing and developing the staff. I've searching the internet looking for learning materials as well tools for carrying out this assigned duties.

I live in Seneca, SC. I am single with a cognitive disability. From age 15 to 35, I fell into addiction with alcohol. Having been sober since May of 2000, recovery has shown me alot of discipline and focus. Standing up for my rights as a disabled individual, I look to further healthcare and transortation among the elderly and disabled.

It seems that all memberships here are in Kansas, but if this is a national program, I have a business plan for a transit service in the upstate of SC. Being new in the Non-Profit area, I look forward to all that I can learn.

I work as a psychologist with City of Fremont's Aging and Family Services. I also teach at Chabot College (a local junior college) and I teach Community Psychology at JFK University in Campbell, CA.

i have been a community organizer for over 20 years, i moved to ri towith a vison for change , i have been involved with several tems mworkshops ,surveys, etc. i decided to go independent because momies are being used in yhe wrong way. and i want to see a change. many people are geeting rich with funds for the sommunity and i think with what i have in mind will help
