Question: how and what do I need to do, to confince my comminity to offer $1.oo houses to the very low income and homess families. Just in one sction there are over 100 vacant homes that could be utilized. Any suggestions
Answer: What a great thing to be considering. I believe that this will be difficult, depending on local politics and cultural norms, although I wish this kind of thing were easy since it has the potential of helping a great many people. You might want to check out the Advocacy sections, and the Social Marketing sections of the CTB Table of Contents. Unfortunately, there is no "canned program" that will help. Good luck!
