Ask an Advisor Answers

Question: Hi, I plan an article or series of Q/A sessions around "what are the most effective building energy efficiency programs?" I'd like to know about a resource like yours that provides an advisor who would answer the above question. There are many community-level planners now weighing various program concepts and designs who may have little or no energy experience and the article, to run in Home Energy Magazine, will hopefully be a resource. I'm aware of the Rocky Mountain Institute community energy planning tool & want to learn about others.
Answer: Unfortunately, CTB does not include a database of expert advisors concerning energy resources. We suggest that you contact key universities involved in energy efficiency technology development. Wish we could be of more help, because you certainly are pursuing an important topic.
