I am an Occupational Health Nurse and I work at two different sites with over 2000 workers at each site. Our community has over 7000 residents. How do I get brochures to give to the worksite employees and to the community?

I have not yet used and plan to get as much information as possible to help my worksite employees and those in our community

I am a student in the Papua New Guinea University of Technology doing my third year in Accounting. Due to the current law and order problems in my country, I think of doing something as an educated citizen to at least educate my fellow people to live a peaceful life. However, due to lack of knowlede, manpower and finance, nothing has been done yet. With the concern I have, I organized my community boys and formed an association to cater for the problem by educating people about peaceful and safe life, delivering basic services as possible as we can, organizing community develop works such road clean ups and education promotion teachings.The association was formed in 2006 but it was not registered and will be probably registered in June, 2009. Desperately, I need such information and fortunately I found your site and collect excellent documents. With that I really thank you and may God bless your organization.

Studied Public Health at the West Indies School of Public Health. Worked at the Ministry of Health, also worked at the Metropolitan Parks and Market a solid waste management company. Currently work at the Social Development Commission as a Community Development Officer and studying finance.

This tool box contains every thing and more which is the core of my job. I use it to do training, and to guide me in doing my day to day activities. This resource would be more valuable if the sections that are not complete are completed and if more cases included and also examples of Participatory Learning and Activity (PLA) techniques.

Free-lance community health nurse who works as a volunteer parish nurse mostly with the United Methodist Church. Although I come from Mennonite roots, I have grown up and been educated with John Wesley's spiritual service philosophy paraphrased as "Do all the good you can, how you can, wherever you can." This is an incredible resource! It has already saved me the price of a return trip to Peru to continue to empower local community health and wholeness leaders of Chincha, the coastal desert community that is still recovering from the August 2007 earthquake. They have access to high speed internet so I was able to forward the link! It is awesome that the Spanish links are also present.
