    I run a community health education department for a local hospital and serve as co-chairman of a community health partnership known as Healthy Living 2000. Our 1994 community assessment included a health risk appraisal filled out by 3,999 local residents. A followup 1996 survey was completed by nearly 3,000 persons. I'm thrilled to find you as a resource. This is my first communication on the internet. I know. I'm finally ready for the next millenium. Best wishes for a healthy, happy and prosperous new year!

    I'm a supervisor @ a substance abuse tx agency in VA. We have received a small grant from the state to either develop and deploy or deploy an interactive software package for at-risk youth on conflict resolution. As I see it, this would present scenarios to the user & ask them to choose their response, then the program would present the likely consquences. Thus far, I've only been able to find one thing like this (@ the University Of Indiana). Do you know of any others?/Jeff Shelton

    I am a Development Director principally concerned with raising funds for early childhood education programs such as child care, Head Start, and family strengthening programs. I work for a large non-profit in Northwest Florida and am also concerned with many social issues such as youth, housing, leadership, and family friendly workplaces.     doing some similar work in Illinois, specially Governor's Council on Health and Physical Fitness initiatives such as safe sport participation for youth, weight control and nutrition through YMCA's, several others...of particular interest to me is early childhood motor development programs for 3 to 5 year olds.
