Question:
I am disable I get around in a power wheelchair.
Whenever I go get my food at a place the only wheelchair access they have is inside the store when I go in the store it is so crowded in there I can hardly move around in there and then the area is so small the tables that they have put in there for people to dine-in are wide due to the place being so small can anything be done about this?
Answer:
Hello, Chanda! Thank you for your question. You may want to talk with the store owner about making accommodations to their building for wheelchair accessibility. If you are unable to negotiate a workable solution with the store owner or management, you may want to consider contacting ada.complaint@usdoj.gov. Hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions or concerns.
