I work in communities where this will be very useful for me. particularly as it gives a step by step guide and references of task to be done. this is very helpful. I am also looking at supporting some intervention in the North East of Nigeria where the humanitarian crisis has been lingering for years now. This will be useful. I would like to know if the toolkit is available in hard copy and how can one get it?

I'm a retired software developer with 10 years of experience in software process improvement and organizational change. I've gotten involved with a local group that is trying to save an old school that was donated to their town, because the town wants to make it "surplus". They'll give it to a non-profit, but the group hasn't been around long enough to establish itself that way.
The local Grange has stepped in to be the non-profit, but they only have six members, and when they demonstrated what a Grange meeting was like, the other members of the group didn't like the ritual and structure.
Lots of problems to deal with, and a deadline of November 1st to deal with.
How have you used the Community Tool Box to support your work and make a difference?
I'm going to tell the leaders of the group about your web site and encourage them to use your approach and tools. I don't know if that will happen, but I think it gives us a chance at establishing a relationship with a 501c3 that the town will approve of for the transfer.
