Within the last few years, growth management has become a focal point for public and private concerns. I am on the faculty of the University of Kentucky Center for Rural Health. Thanks for your support and advice about our asthma grant proposal.

I work with a grant that is exploring how volunteering occurs in low-income communities, and the types of initiatives that are organized by residents to strengthen their neighborhoods. Currently, I am developing a leadership development training for grassroots leaders to mobilize members into volunteer neighborhood efforts.
