I'm steadily getting back on my feet after the hurricane damage to my home. Prior to my injuries I was working on my fitness degree to use it as I need it now - for the elders to learn they can still exercise. With today's youth in the shape they are, I'd eventually like to give it a shot to teach them.

How have you used the Community Tool Box to support your work and make a difference?
Fadma wants me to bring tools about community development and community needs evaluation. Your site seems to be the answer to my prayers as most of the sites I found until now had a focus on North America or Europe. Do you answer specific questions? Thanks Louise

I work at the Southern California Injury Prevention Research Center at the UCLA School of Public Health. We do program evaluation workshops with community based organizations that participate in the Violence Prevention Coalition of Greater Los Angeles.
How have you used the Community Tool Box to support your work and make a difference?
We include materials from the CTB in the binders that we give to participants in our program evaluation workshops. They provide an easy to read, yet comprehensive introduction to many of the core concepts we address in the workshops. We also direct participants to the CTB website to use as a resource after they complete the workshops. We are grateful that such a resource exists and that it is available to the public free of charge.
