How have you used the Community Tool Box to support your work and make a difference?
I am fairly new in development work and the CTB will come in handy as reference material. We work with the community and therefore any information on how to improve collaboration is highly welcomed. The resource would be more valuable if I could send CD-ROM of the CTB and other related resources that I could share with practitioners and the community that we work with.

How have you used the Community Tool Box to support your work and make a difference?
This tool box contains every thing and more which is the core of my job. I use it to do training, and to guide me in doing my day to day activities. This resource would be more valuable if the sections that are not complete are completed and if more cases included and also examples of Participatory Learning and Activity (PLA) techniques.

Free-lance community health nurse who works as a volunteer parish nurse mostly with the United Methodist Church. Although I come from Mennonite roots, I have grown up and been educated with John Wesley's spiritual service philosophy paraphrased as "Do all the good you can, how you can, wherever you can." I also share the passion that the church needs to be a mentor and model of health and wholeness.
How have you used the Community Tool Box to support your work and make a difference?
This is an incredible resource! It has already saved me the price of a return trip to Peru to continue to empower local community health and wholeness leaders of Chincha, the coastal desert community that is still recovering from the August 2007 earthquake. They have access to high speed internet so I was able to forward the link! It is awesome that the Spanish links are also present.

I am a mid-life graduate student in survey research & methodology. I've often thought that there were ways of doing things "outside the box". Now I'm all the more eager to climb outside relative to gathering information on our increasingly-pluralistic U S of A.

I started working as a translator and an English trainer for a NGO under EC called IMPACT (Integrated Management for Prevention And Control and Treatment of HIV/AIDS)under Health Research Unit Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Padjadjaran. On the way, I was then pulled into a female with HIV community to help them to improve their capacity building program. I am so happy because this is my chance to directly involve myself in helping others in needs.
How have you used the Community Tool Box to support your work and make a difference?
I need to settle a good capacity building program which meets my capacity as an English graduate who also has an interest in equal treatment for female PLHA.

How have you used the Community Tool Box to support your work and make a difference?
I'm working with tech instructors, pushing them through 1-hour workshops on Strategic Planning/Action Plans/Committee Responsibilities, and I thought your site had some very grounded tips, advice, suggestions, and examples. Thanks! I simply googled 'Action Plans' and came across your site. Very fitting as I started my graduate work at KU and have recently been considering contacting Dr. Fawcett to discuss my plan to complete my graduate work - now in the area of organizational management. Hmmm...
