I'm the Drug Demand Reduction NCO with the Wyoming National Guard Counterdrug office in Cheyenne. We support several community health projects including Healthy Communities-Healthy Youth and Tar Wars, a tobacco education program for fifth graders. We do drug education, team building and public affairs support for our partners.

I met Steve recently. His thinking and life's work is clearly something I want to connect with. More importantly, I believe that this toolbox could be an integral component of what helps to build healthy communities - where everyone has access to and uses the available resources that build personal and family health. A healthy community is more importantly a place where people realize their full potential for optimal health status, and that does not differ by race, culture, ethnicity, or class (income, education, job, etc.) I hope that vision becomes reality and you are a part of making it so.
