I run a community health education department for a local hospital and serve as co-chairman of a community health partnership known as Healthy Living 2000. Our 1994 community assessment included a health risk appraisal filled out by 3,999 local residents. A followup 1996 survey was completed by nearly 3,000 persons. I am a Development Director principally concerned with raising funds for early childhood education programs such as child care, Head Start, and family strengthening programs.
