I AM HOPING TO BUILD A SOLID FOUNDATION BY-THE-BOOK THIS TIME TO SEE IF ALL THE THEORIES I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO PUT TO USE BECAUSE OF ONE CRISIS AFTER ANOTHER REALLY WILL WORK. I was hired to coordinate an HIV prevention project in a clinic setting. What I have been doing is to assist the program director in developing a plan and assist in the implementation. Not only with a view to project planning, but to a hire level re-structuring the clinic, revitalizing and developing the staff. I've searching the internet looking for learning materials as well tools for carrying out this assigned duties.

I live in Seneca, SC. I am single with a cognitive disability. From age 15 to 35, I fell into addiction with alcohol. Having been sober since May of 2000, recovery has shown me alot of discipline and focus. Standing up for my rights as a disabled individual, I look to further healthcare and transortation among the elderly and disabled.

It seems that all memberships here are in Kansas, but if this is a national program, I have a business plan for a transit service in the upstate of SC. Being new in the Non-Profit area, I look forward to all that I can learn.

I work as a psychologist with City of Fremont's Aging and Family Services. I also teach at Chabot College (a local junior college) and I teach Community Psychology at JFK University in Campbell, CA.
How have you used the Community Tool Box to support your work and make a difference?
I would like to use the Tool Box to teach my Community Psychology students some of the "pragmatics" that are involved in preparing for and setting up a community agency. I am curious to know what the copyright regulations are concerning the use of materials ( I would like to use a few of the summaries in a reader) and who should be contacted regarding the use of the materials.
