I am currently a hospice director and I have been working with our local EOL Coalition here in Monterey CA, one of the many across the country that started as a result of OOT outreach efforts. We have a viable coalition that continues to work hard through the efforts of community volunteers dedicated to improving how we care for the dying.
How have you used the Community Tool Box to support your work and make a difference?
This is my first visit. But hope to see how others are doing in there efforts around the country.

It is my intention to take a Masters course in Community Enterprise at cambridge university and I have an interview on Dec 3rd I am quite nervous and was researching the subject when I came across your site. I have been raving about it ever since. I think it is the most useful and generous site I have encountered and I shall take great pleasure in giving you all credit if and when i use your material. I do not believe in re-inventing the stone as it were, but firmly believe in giving credit where its due and you deserve it in bucket loads!!! Been great talking to you, bye for now

The work and advice I give is far reaching and I am in the process of developing a mentoring scheme for small not for profit organisations.
How have you used the Community Tool Box to support your work and make a difference?
To provide simple and readable resource material to people who need training and development with their organisations. The Community Tool Box is a tremendous resource and I have been using it for over three years.

The Community Development Foundation is a small group working for the main part with Indigenous Australians. The current project is to establish how to encourage more Indigenous parents/carers to participate in schools and to assist with their childrens education. In doing so the CDF works with the parents to obtain postive outcomes for students. We work in the areas of: 1) education 2) justice 3) commerce and trade and have 4) some federal funding.
How have you used the Community Tool Box to support your work and make a difference?
I am going to work/read the Ctoolbox over the january period. You appear to work in a similar way to CDF and I am hoping that we have found a common bond as the CDF is both successful but alone in Western Austrlaia in its methods.

I am a nurse and immunization program manager at Grand Forks Public Health Department. I am also coordinator of the Greater Grand Forks Immunization Coalition. I have seen presentations at several national conferences by the Community tool Box.
How have you used the Community Tool Box to support your work and make a difference?
I use information from the Tool Box to help in my leadership roles. I find your excellent information to be most helpful . I was unable to contact you through your website except to register as a guest. The link you provided didn't work for me. I am hoping you will be able to answer my question from this avenue. Our department does yearly strategic planning. The divisions don't work real well together. I have been gathering information on team building from your site. It is very good and I hope I can do it justice! What I am looking for are some examples of bonding activities that don't take a significant amount of time. Our strategic planning sessions last one day and time is precious. Would you know of any activities we could use to build team bonds? Thank you for your time, your site, and your consideration. Kathy Dunn

Hi I'm not responding in the appropriate section of your site, but I couldn't find another place to send an email. I work with Rocky Mountain Institute, have worked with David Allee in Cornell extension, and thought you might find the following site useful, since it attempts to address many of the same audiences as does your site. www.rmi.org/sitepages/pid356.php Good luck with your work.
