I am 44 a single mother or 4 who will be graduating from Southern University at New Orleans with a bachelors degree in social work. I have always been active in the community in which I live and feel that there aren't any resources for my inner city community and no one seems to care. I would like to try to change this.I will graduate in December 2000.

I'm using a lot of material from the toolbox to design a Leadership Curriculum for tenants at Lakefront SRO in Chicago. We have close to 900 single-room occupancy units and are actively promoting that residents become involved in leadership activities here. We want to help give them skills to enable them to do so.
