The course will be distance-delivered using audioconference technology. I'm a volunteer for the REACH program in Northampton, MA. REACH is a Early Childhood Intervention Program, servicing children age 0 to 36 months. I'm employed at the UNC Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention (one of the CDC-sponsored Prevention Centers). I attended two of your sessions at APHA this week and am excited about using your model to provide training and technical assistance on worksite hpdp for small blue collar workplaces to local health departments in North Carolina. You all are doing great, innovative work!

Our region is currently working on development of community health centres using a community development model. We are working collaboratively with a number of community partners and this resource will be very useful. One of our community health promotion initiatives-a heart health project -is looking at tools for dissemination of the lessons learned on community mobilization. Again this will be helpful. Thanks

I am an Extension Educator for Purdue University. I work from a field office located 200 miles from campus . My duties include the informal education of youth and adults in the areas oc community development, leadership, and community service, in additiona to coorindating the county-wide 4-H program. As such I am involved in a teen - youth mentoring program which is in need of additional funding to continue beyond the three year pilot program!
