I believe in God, raised by my grandmother. I was homeless for 2 yrs as a teenager, raised by a single mother, bachelor degree and Paralegal Cert. from Samford U. recently got Grant Writer Cert. from Emory U. I want to help those who wants to help others.

Hi All, I am a Masters level social worker with a minor in education. with many years of diversified community service skills, state certified professional trainer as well as an Individual Course of Action (ICA) Family Team Conference certified train the trainer. My work experience included health education, employee assistance, substance abuse, mental health, education, primary (community basec clinic)and acute care administration (hospital social work director), child protective services and contract administration (Children's Trust), and training. My company is Career FUNdamentals, LLC. It's focus is to bridge the gap between education, training and service delivery at both the administrative and staff levels. The goal is to offer social services as a business model and need to embrace the workforce from a corporate prospective.

The Community Tool Box is an excellent way to gather information on trends and methods. I would like to ues the tool box for continued professional growth.

I am the Assistant Director for the Communities for All Ages national network. I provide training, technical assistance and coaching to 18 intergenerational community based coalitions around the county.

After reading the resources you offer, I like the information about volunteer recruitment and retention as well as info about the broader community outreach about health issues.

I am a physician by training and have been volunteering to provide medical relief in Haiti for the last 5 years. I have realized that economic development and health go hand in glove and am passionate about doing what it takes to help people help themselves.I am currently pursuing a certification through KU and am the director of economic development for Sonje Ayiti, a non profit working in the region of Limonade, Haiti.

I have only recently been introduced to this resource and will be evaluating it for myself as i become more familiar with it.

Hi I am a mom of three and this is my first semester back at school. I am attending Liberty University and I would like to use the web site for research on the homeless population to help with my research paper.

I am a 50+ yr old female, who has finished a degree in Spanish (bilingual for over 35 years). I work at the military library in Fort Leavenworth and part time at the Olathe Public Library. My goal is to complete a professional degree in Library Science. (I want to be a bilingual librarian when I grow up!)Libraries play an important role in community building. I have heard about your effort through REFORMA, the national association organization of librarians and support staff, who are dedicated in promoting Library information and services to Latinos and the Spanish speaking.

I am still exploring the site in Spanish. I teach librarians Spanish for library use. Your site is a resource I have shared with other librarians working with Latin American and Spanish speaking patrons.
