I am a Kenyan working as a development worker on a health project in Somalia. I posses a post graduate degree in business administration. I love reading widely on social sciences and empowering/motivating people. Formerly I was a trainer.

I am fairly new in development work and the CTB will come in handy as reference material. We work with the community and therefore any information on how to improve collaboration is highly welcomed. The resource would be more valuable if I could send CD-ROM of the CTB and other related resources that I could share with practitioners and the community that we work with.

I work with inter- and intra-agency teams of human services providers to coordinate and integrate services to vulnerable families and individuals. I provide instruction to social work students at a state university.

This is a fantastic resource, and very user-friendly. The framework for program evaluation is a nice succinct overview for non-evaluation researchers, but provides a great introduction to the process. I will use this to introduce an undergraduate class in social work practice with organizations and communities to basic program evaluation concepts. They're useful tools for assisting community-based teams and workgroups with assessment and planning - all very accessible. Thank you!

I started my new role as the Family Liaison at Gainesville State School, a division of the Texas Youth Commission on Sept. 15, 2008. I graduated from Kennesaw State University in Georgia with a Bachelor's degree in psychology/sociology and continued my education and earned my first Master's Degree in Counseling from Midwestern State University and recently became a licensed Professional Counselor. My second Master's Degree is in Family Studies from Texas Woman's University. I began with the Texas Youth Commission in 2006 as a counselor intern, Case Manager III. My career outside of TYC includes being a Program Therapist for youth Services, family case manager for Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, and a Field Executive for the North Central Texas Girl's Scout Council. I have experience working with adolescents, adults, and families on a wide variety of issues.

To increase family involvement in the rehabilitation of youth by developing, organizing, implementing, and overseeing family involvement activities at the TYC facilities.

I'm an executive director in the Iraqi Civic Action Network(ICAN). ICAn is an Iraqi NGO established in 2006. ICAN seeks to build an independent and active civil society that contributes to a democratic political process and transition in Iraq. ICAN's mission is to develop Iraq's civil society groups through capacity building trainings including organizational development and advocacy campaigns, and provide a forum for information exchange on best practices that lead to their growth and development. ICAN conducted several programs aimed to develop and building capacity of many Iraqi NGOs.

In fact we got benefit a lot from the CTB materials. It helps to develop our skills and increase our knowledge. We hope that CTB adds Arabic language to enable many civil society activists who are indeed to such topics.

I have really appreciated the information from this site for quite a while. I have not logged in lately, I like the change. I have a nonprofit organization and I work with other organizations. I do work to encourage African American parents to take a more active role in the education of their children. I am currently working to plan a strategy to address the gang or neighborhood rivalry in a Washington D.C. Children from one neighborhood fighting and even shooting children from other neighborhood to keep them out of the school that is in one group's neighborhood or that requires that children work through the other's neighborhood to get to school or even take the bus.

I am a mid-life graduate student in survey research & methodology. I've often thought that there were ways of doing things "outside the box". Now I'm all the more eager to climb outside relative to gathering information on our increasingly-pluralistic U S of A.

I am working in North Los Angeles County Regional Center with behavioral vendor agencies providing services for people with developmental disabilities.

I am in the process of organizing a consortium of agencies to form a behavioral community. We have met once [40 agencies], will meet monthly at CAL State Univ Northridge to collectively improve services for people with disabilities, establish collegial relationships between agencies, and address mutual problems systemically.

I started working as a translator and an English trainer for a NGO under EC called IMPACT (Integrated Management for Prevention And Control and Treatment of HIV/AIDS)under Health Research Unit Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Padjadjaran. On the way, I was then pulled into a female with HIV community to help them to improve their capacity building program. I am so happy because this is my chance to directly involve myself in helping others in needs.

I need to settle a good capacity building program which meets my capacity as an English graduate who also has an interest in equal treatment for female PLHA.

I'm working at Salina Tech, as Dean of Institutional Improvement and am primarily responsible for getting the college accredited by the Higher Learning Commission to be a stand-alone technical college. We will soon embark on our 2-year self-study.

I live in the Kendall-Whittier neighborhood of Tulsa, Rev. Thad Holcombe's old stomping grounds. I attended the University of Tulsa and was involved in the Canterbury Center for United Ministry.

I come back to it year after year as a refresher course on the fundamentals of neighborhood advocacy/community activism.

I am a Senior Research Coordinator at Yale University, working on an NIH Cancer Information Services grant. I am also health faculty, Community Health Educator, student Peer Health Eudcator trainer, Certified Health Education Specialist, and health writer. I have worked on health prevention activities addressing Healthy People 2010 goals and community health inititatives, employing community models for over 20 years.

I share the information with colleagues and community members who are developing grassroots initiatives, as a guide, learning tool for evidence-based resources in program development, implementation, and evaluation. I also share this information with allied health and health education undergraduate students for future use.

Director of an innercity social services centre for women and children who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Volunteer on a variety of committees and boards. Foster mom for Childrens Aid Society of Lanark, (have had about 20 children). Believe in "stand up for what we stand on". Love animals (have several refugee animals at home), children, gardening, and country living. Am currently 56 and just began a job-share easing into an age 60 retirement (I hope!) Love travelling, and have had the honor of visiting a few continents but truly hate flying.

I peruse the CTB Newsletter and pass on info to people that may be interested in certain articles. Keeps me informed on global issues that don't make the news.
