It's a great tool. I am referring my international friends from Latin America and the Caribbean to the sections available in Spanish. Very Good. I would only add a section on interactive self-assessment, in which you can write the characteristics of your program, the inputs, outputs, and outcomes; and to be able to assess it. Like a diagnostic instrument.

I live in the Kendall-Whittier neighborhood of Tulsa, Rev. Thad Holcombe's old stomping grounds. I attended the University of Tulsa and was involved in the Canterbury Center for United Ministry.

I come back to it year after year as a refresher course on the fundamentals of neighborhood advocacy/community activism.

I am a Senior Research Coordinator at Yale University, working on an NIH Cancer Information Services grant. I am also health faculty, Community Health Educator, student Peer Health Eudcator trainer, Certified Health Education Specialist, and health writer. I have worked on health prevention activities addressing Healthy People 2010 goals and community health inititatives, employing community models for over 20 years.

I share the information with colleagues and community members who are developing grassroots initiatives, as a guide, learning tool for evidence-based resources in program development, implementation, and evaluation. I also share this information with allied health and health education undergraduate students for future use.

Love travelling, and have had the honor of visiting a few continents but truly hate flying.

I do not reading on the computer it hurt my eyes, I have to look at a computer all day at work. I would love to purchase a hard copy.

To brainstorm and get ideas. This site has a lot of food for thought, but generic templates such as: Org. charts, Pert Chart and marketing templates would definitely increase it's usefulness to me. I realize other software offers these things, but they are not community health related and lack the specificity that I need.

Mi intencion es organizar un grupo multisectorial que inicie actividades concretas de promocion de desarrollo social en estas poblacions apenas se finalice con la instalacion de la tecnologia y proomcionando el "empoderamiento" local

L adeseo usar como referencia a todas las actividades y procesos que estarian implicados en un objetivo de estas caracteristicas y, si contamos con los recursos, crear herramientas web que luego puedan ser usadas por las comunidades como herramientas del proceso.

Dios los bendiga por esta oportunidad que brindan de ayudar a fundaciones y paises como el de nosotros que tiene tanta problematica en la ninez, en las mujeres y los ancianos, trabajamos con nuestra fundacion FIRES en prevencion de drogodependencia para ninos, maltrato intrafamiliar y con el grupo de la tercera edad, pero aqui en nuestra poblacion es muy dificil hacer el trabajo por que los recursos casi siempre son canalizados hacia las mismas personas y nos ha tocado trabajar en colegios, comunas y barrios casi gratis, pero realmente es muy dificil trabajar asi.
