My Partner, John and I forms the Management Team for a Guest Lodge, Timbali Lodge, in the Ezulwini Valley in Swaziland and we have launched a Social Responsibility Program called "Sikhatsi Setfu", meaning "Our Time" (for living, for loving, for giving) I am Chairperson for this organisation and since our start in Feb 2005, we have managed to establish a Soup Kitchen at our local Primary School and from feeding 25 kids in Feb, we are now feeding all 706 children. The school is being painted by Dulux, we managed to obtain funding for Fencing, Watertanks and Agricultural Equipment. Our Veg Garden now feeds the Soup Kitchen and soon we will be selling the surplus. We are working together with a local HIV/AIDS organisation in aiming to provide Homecare to HIV/AIDS sufferers and their families. We have a Literacy Programme that includes skills like Brick making and Dress making.

My aim is to utilise the Community Toolbox in writing a Grant Proposal, Transferring Skills to the individual Committees involved in Sikhatsi Setfu and use all your invaluable information to move forward and make our Organisation the most successful one in Swaziland.

I'm developing an online course in library marketing, and your community needs assessment is wonderful so I'm linking to it and having the students apply your excellent materials to library "health" needs in their communities. Thanks so much.

Head Start management involved a cycle of planning and assessment. With the Head Start Act needing reauthorization every 5 years, there are constant changes in program regs and services. TOOLBOX IS WONDERFUL!!!!!!!

All of the Resources.. we are a new venture and we are in need of every resource that is available. This site is a God-send! In Christ

I use it to learn new skills necessary in the public health field. It's great that all of these tools are available for free, too!
