Example #1: Smoke-Free Kids and Soccer Posters

"Smoke-Free Kids and Soccer" was a collaboration between the Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. Women's National Team, and US Soccer, the governing body of American soccer. The program models the smoke-free lifestyle of the National Team members and encourages adolescent girls to participate in soccer to maintain physical fitness and resist pressures to smoke. Here are the posters that are being distributed as part of the campaign:

 

Example #2: HEBS Anti-Smoking Posters

The Health Education Board for Scotland is a national health education project in Scotland that distributes information on heart disease, cancer, drug and alcohol abuse, and other issues. These two anti-smoking posters are great examples of how to use a striking image to convey a point:
